  I worked for tores home despite all the bad things I heard about working there. At first it wasn't bad at all and everyone worked as a team to care for the residents. Not long after I got comfortable with my residents and my coworkers things took a turn. I was no longer getting help from other employees it seemed as though I was the only one taking care of the residents. A bed bound resident starting getting horrible bed sores. And one that was transitioning we were told to not wake her to feed her to pretty much just let her starve. Also the hours are ridiculous there one week you work 10 hrs monday 8 hrs Tuesday Wednesday then off Thursday and Friday and pull 12s Saturday and Sunday. Then the next you only work Thursday and Friday. The pay there is not good for the work you do. When I decided to quit tores I was banned from the property with no explanation. If you think about putting your loved one in tores home please think twice. If you think about working there soon you will see. When you look at the website for tores you see tore himself interacting with the residents. When I worked there I did not see tore on campus not 1 time. Also activities are no more at tores because of being so short staffed it seems as if everyone figured out at the same time that tores is a horrible place to work.
